Lebanese Science Journal: continued improvement over the past five years

The impact factor of scientific journals provides a quantitative and qualitative tool for evaluating and characterizing academic excellence using a well-defined set of criteria. The Institute for Information Resources in Australia is now indexing thousands of journals globally and produces a global impact factor (GIF) for these journals annually. The Lebanese Science Journal (LSJ) has been indexed by this institution since 2012. The 2016 report indicated that the GIF for the LSJ for 2016 is 1.354. The figure to the right shows the LSJ GIF values from 2012 until 2016. It is evident that LSJ is making a steady and continuous improvement over the past five years.
